DJ workshop:

This workshop is for anyone interested in DJing in a ballroom setting or has experience in DJing in a ballroom setting. Workshop will cover the areas of equipment needed, equipment set up and break down, equipment explanation (such as, what is an “amp” and what are “XLR cables”?), how to make a play list, how to read the crowd, how to introduce new music to a dance scene, how to find new music, Mp3’s vs. CD’s, digital formats, how to beat match, MC (how to use a microphone), and we might even have some special guest DJs for other professional venues. This workshop is intended for serious participants only. All ages and skill levels encouraged
